We've Arrived in South Africa

We arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa on the 31st of March, 2006 to begin our 3 year term as AGWM appointed missionaries. It was after 10pm when we cleared customs and as we entered the terminal with all of our luggage we pleased to see missionaries David Betzer and Lincoln Smith waiting to help us. They were delivering our '93 VW Caravelle for us to use.

After loading everything up in the kombi (VW)we said our goodbyes to the missionaries and drove to a hotel and spent a very peaceful night.

Next day, we drove to Rustenburg and spent 3-4 days visiting and organizing our personal effects to be delivered to Polokwane in Limpopo Province, our new home.

We arrived in Polokwane late in the afternoon on the 6th of April. We found our "new to us" mission house and began to unload our personal goods and set up housekeeping. The mission house had been rented for 15 months and was dire need of some TLC! There was a major water leak in a bathroom wall that required major work and renovation. We love our new home!

On the 16th of June, we had our formal introductions to our National and District Leadership. Now we can officially begin ministry to the beautiful people of Limpopo!
